Will Becoming A Sponsored Paintball Team Save Money?
Me and a few of my friends paintball once every few weeks. We do not do any tournaments but we do participate in a lot of scenario games. We are considering trying to get sponsored.
How much free stuff do sponsors actually give?
Will the increased frequency of play cost more in the long run even with the sponsorship?
It depends on who you get. its alot harder to get a sponsor than you would think. if you get someone to sponsor you guys and its good you might break even.
you wont get sponsered unless youv won some small to medium tournements, and even then you probably wont get free stuff, just 20% discount etc
If you only play once every few weeks you will most likely not get sponsored, many tournament teams who play every weekend for hours on end do not get sponsored. If you do somehow get sponsored, you will most likely get a discount on paint, guns, gun parts etc. it just depends on what company it is. do not try to get sponsored by huge paintball companies like diablo paintballs, etek, etc.. start out small. My team and I are sponsored by Xball paintballs, and that took several months of calling and convincing them to do it. and for your second question it depends on how much of a discount you get.
